George Rivera, Ph.D.

George Rivera is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and activist whose work spans digital art, indigenous visual traditions, social sculpture, and sound art. His practice is rooted in the belief that art is a vehicle for cross-cultural dialogue and social transformation.

With exhibitions across Bosnia, China, Colombia, Korea, Mexico, Palestine, and beyond, Rivera's work has reached audiences around the world, always asking the question at the center of his practice: Why are we here? To help one another.
