TSONIC AND AMASONIC ORCHESTRA IN BOSNIA

Dr. George Rivera AKA Doktor Sonic
Dr. George Rivera AKA Doktor Tsonik and the AmaSonic Sound Orchestra presented sound art performances that utilized musical instruments from the tribes in the Amazon Rainforest that were not played as musical instruments, but instead were used to produce sounds that imitated sounds heard in the rainforest.

Doktor Tsonik and the AmaSonic Sound Orchestra also were invited to performed at the best-known Jazz Club in Sarajevo, the Monument, with a set that came after an Austrian Jazz Group and a Mongolian Jazz Group. This was the first time that this sound art performance was held outside of art venues. The rianforest improve sound art performance was well received and many in the audience wanted to buy our CDs, which will be available in the Summer of 2016.

Dr. George Rivera represented the United States at the Winter Festival; Sarajevo 2016 in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina and curated the following three exhibitions of works from the art collective the Artnauts.
